Our client one of the worlds best known supermarket chains with an array of well established subsidiaries offering a multitude of diverse services from finance to telecommunications and a strategy to continue to broaden the scope of the business to enable it to deliver strong sustainable long term growth by following the customer into large and expanding markets and to continue to diversify the business further in future years.
The Role:
As a Kaizen Leader within one of a number of small collaborative internal consultancy teams, you will work cross functionally to influence the annual operational plans by creating and facilitating a variety of workshops aimed at a diverse stakeholder group, interacting with all levels within the business using different approaches to guide and challenge current and future thinking to support future planning and growth along the lean journey.
The role forms part of a Programme Management Office so an element of responsibility is to be the central hub of all appropriately collated information and data for analysis of future projects aimed at driving performance improvement and culture change effecting both the internal and external customer base.
The Person:
Experienced with Lean Six Sigma project leadership, you will have gained a formal accreditation followed by a number of years working within a Lean culture with multiple stakeholders and driving step change from a shop floor to senior management.
You will demonstrate a key focus on the customer with strong influencing skills, a proactive, confident and positive professional personality adept at driving change.
You will also demonstrate a track record for driving the Voice of the Customer thinking, development of projects with key stakeholders that deliver process simplification and cost efficiency, and shaping strategy based on the principals of removing non value adding activities.
