POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a consultant in the Change Implementation practice, you will help to develop and implement solutions that will enhance organisation strategy, operational structure and processes, culture, people programmes and technology in blue chip and public sector client organisations.
Your role will be to support senior consultants on and potentially lead elements of various client-related assignments. You will be exposed to a broad range of industries, clients and business issues that will enhance your consulting skills, business acumen and continue to build valuable problem solving and project management capabilities.
The practice offers a combination of challenging client situations, visionary projects, the opportunity to work as part of a team and develop excellent skills and competencies.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Participating in the delivery of complex change programmes that add value to the client’s business
Creating project-related deliverables in areas ranging from mergers and acquisitions, people strategy development, employee engagement, HR strategy and service delivery
Developing programmes designed to build client capability and enhance individual and team performance
Participating in and facilitating client workshops, interviews and focus groups
Participating in consultant and client teams
Project management of smaller client engagements, and work streams on larger projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years business experience in consulting and/or operational management
Excellent business acumen
Experience in making change happen in a line or project management position within an organisation
A passion for the strategy, organisational and people aspects of change and for making a difference
An understanding of and affinity with the way people behave in organisations
Strong analytical skills; the ability to synthesise information and develop insights and combine this with creativity
Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak and write persuasively and convincingly at both senior and junior levels within an organisation
Self starter who can thrive in a fast paced evolving business environment
